Tree Plantation Program at Kaptai Nurul Huda Kaderi School
Nurul Huda Kaderi High School in Baroichhari, Kaptai organized a tree plantation event to raise climate awareness among secondary-level students.
On Sunday, August 3, organizers distributed 920 fruit and medicinal saplings to 230 students. The Department of Agricultural Extension supplied the saplings under the Agricultural Incentive Program.
The program included a discussion and prize-giving ceremony. School teacher Russell Khan moderated the event. Essayist Aminur Rashid Kaderi chaired the session.
Agriculture Officer Imran Ahmed attended as the chief guest. Head teacher Joysim Barua gave the welcome speech.
Other guests included journalist Kazi Mosharraf Hossain, press club secretary Julon Dutt, Wagga Tea Ltd. director Faisal Amin Kaderi, agriculture officer Bappa Mallik, and school committee member Barn Bikash Tonchongya.
Teachers, students, parents, and local dignitaries also attended the event, contributing to its success and promoting a greener future.
