ThorLove and Thunder (2022), directed by Taika Waititi, is a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film that follows Thor’s adventures after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The movie combines humor, action, and heartfelt moments while exploring themes of love, loss, and redemption.
In recent times, the MCU or the Marvel Cinematic Universe is ruling the cinemas with millions or even billions of fans around the world. There have been almost 30 movies to under its belt and each one is better than the first. It started with Iron Man and now is one if not the most successful movie franchise in the history of cinema. Even though, film lovers have mixed views on it, it is almost impossible to deny its influence and success.
So far, they have had huge movies every year. Movies like Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Infinity War and the iconic Avengers are all its creation. With thousands of characters adapting into the silver screen, it is understandable why it is so popular. Moreover, it has a huge fanbase from the comic era as well.
Marvel Studios, owned by Disney, have planned a lot of films and series for the year of 2022. We have already talked about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, now it is time for us to jump over to the next movie, Thor: Love and Thunder.

In brief, Thor is one of the oldest characters to exist in the MCU and is a part of the original 6 Avengers. This movie will be the 4th solo movie after Thor, Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok. Moreover, the character is said to be one of the strongest characters to exist in the MCU alongside the Scarlett Witch and Doctor Strange. In the comics and the films, Thor Odinson is the king of Asgard and is based on Greek mythology. He has his mighty hammer Mjolnir, which only certain people can lift. It enables him to fly and wield his ability to control thunder. His notable villains are his stepbrother Loki, his sister Hela and others like Surtur.
His abilities include flying, controlling, and using thunder in combat, super strength and much more. Jane Foster is his love interest in the movies with Natalie Portman playing the character.
In the movies, the character is still being played by Chris Hemsworth.

Indeed, the movie is set to be an exciting and fun ride. Director and actor Taika Waititi was describing it as a romance comedy, much like his first film. He also said that it would be adapting some elements from the Mighty Thor comic book issues by Jason Aaron. However, we haven’t gotten any official look of the film, but we have seen a leaked poster and set photos. We can see Chris Hemsworth with a more muscular figure and Chris Pratt with his chops, which his character has in the comics. Moreover, we also got a blurry view at Christian Bale as Gorr, where we can see him in a white outfit. Indeed, prosthetics and CGI will be playing a huge role. Bale will making some changes in his weight after we saw him shave his head for the role in paparazzi photos.
Moreover, so far in the phase 4 of the MCU, the characters are donning more comic accurate outfits. We have seen a lot of it from Scarlett Witch, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and so much more.
