Commemorating the Student-People’s Movement Against Tyranny

A mass rally took place in Kaptai Upazila, Rangamati. It was organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. The event marked the historic July 36 Student-People’s Uprising Day. Leaders, activists, and supporters joined the rally. They honored the spirit of resistance and called for justice and unity.

The rally began on Tuesday, August 5, at 4:30 PM in the Kaptai Upazila premises, followed by a public gathering.

The event was conducted by Jamaat-e-Islami Kaptai Assistant Secretary Nur Jamal.
Kaptai Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Ameer Harunur Rashid joined the event as the chief guest. Maulana Lokman Hossain, Naib-e-Ameer of Kaptai Upazila, attended as the special guest.

The gathering started with a welcome speech from Shahadat Hossain, president of Islami Chhatra Shibir Chandraghona branch.
