Kaptai BNP Victory Rally and Discussion Held to Mark Fall of Fascism in July Uprising
BNP leaders commemorate the anniversary of the people’s victory over authoritarianism through a rally and meeting at Kaptai Upazila.
As part of the nationwide observance of the July Mass Uprising Day, the Kaptai unit of BNP organized a Victory Rally and Discussion Meeting to mark the anniversary of the fall of Awami fascism and the triumph of the student-public movement.
The event took place on Tuesday, August 5, starting at 10 AM. The rally began in front of the Kaptai Upazila Parishad premises and paraded through the main roads of the upazila.

Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad Hall Room. Kaptai Upazila BNP President Lokman Ahmed presided over the session, while Upazila BNP General Secretary Yasin Mamun moderated the discussion. Dr. Rahmat Ullah, Vice President of Rangamati District BNP, attended as the chief guest.
Mark Fall of Fascism in July Uprising
The July Uprising stands as a symbol of resistance against authoritarian rule in Bangladesh’s political history. To mark the fall of fascism and celebrate the people’s victory, the Kaptai BNP organized a rally and discussion event. The gathering emphasized the importance of democracy, unity, and continued struggle against oppression.
