28 Outstanding Students Honored with Crest and Certificate in Kaptai Upazila

Kaptai Upazilla honors 28 outstanding students with crests and certificates for top performance in the 2022–23 HSC exams under the Secondary Education Development Program.

A total of 28 meritorious students from Kaptai Upazila in Rangamati were awarded crests and certificates for their exceptional results in the 2022–2023 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.

The award ceremony took place on Monday, July 28, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kaptai Upazila Auditorium. It was organized jointly by the Kaptai Upazila Secondary Education Office and the Rangamati District Education Office.

Program under Secondary Education Development Initiative

The event was held under the Secondary Education Development Program (SEDP) initiated by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education. Awards were distributed as part of the Performance-Based Grants for Secondary Institutions Scheme.

Officials and Guests Attend the Ceremony

The event was presided over by Syed Mahamud Hasan, the Upazila Secondary Education Officer. The chief guest was Nelly Rudra, Acting Upazila Executive Officer and Assistant Commissioner (Land), Kaptai.

Cash Grants for Academic Excellence

Previously, under this scheme, top-performing students at the secondary level received BDT 10,000, while HSC-level toppers received BDT 25,000 directly into their bank accounts.
